Two times

This weekend was the first time I tried running twice in the same day. I wanted to see how it was going to affect me since I've never done it before.

I decided to take it easy and just run three miles each time. I ran the first time at about 10:30 a.m. and then again at 3:00. I figure that's closer than most of my legs will be. Anyway, it went well. I decided that for cardio, it was like running for the first time the second time around. However, my muscles knew it was the second time although it wasn't bad but that's where I did slightly notice.

If you haven't done it yet, I encourage you to. I'm issuing the challenge to try it out sometime this next week and run at least twice within a 4-6 hours of each other. Also, I made up a training schedule that I'm trying to follow so I'll have to figure out how to get that posted in the next couple of days in case any of you are interested. I decided that the two training schedules on the ragnar site are extremes.

The other thing is we have to have a substitution for Jana by April 30 or we have to pay a fee for a substitution. It sounds like Shari might be doing it though.
